Iron and wedge shafts, same material?

My old set of Callaway clubs had graphite shafts and my wedge shafts were steal. In my opinion it never effected my game. I never had problems transitioning between the two shafts.

I like steel for my sand & lob wedges, regardless of what type of shaft is on the rest of my irons. I've got a graphite set & a steel set now (one set tends to loft higher, the other lower) and use the same wedges with both sets.

I like the same shaft and flex in my wedges and irons. Not everyone does this, but it makes a seamless transition for me.
