Indoor Hitting area suggestions/ideas

1 post in this topic

My wife owns a group fitness studio and I have been thinking about setting up an indoor hitting area.  The room is full of mirrors, so I think it could work great.  I would need something that could be setup quickly and removed, but I also need to capture the balls as if I shank and break a mirror, I am a dead man :)  Any ideas or suggestions on portable nets?  I know I could setup a whole room net, but that won't work.  Also any suggestions on a good surface mat to hit off of, would be helpful.

You indicate that you bought it online, and that could be an issue. If they're an authorized Adams account, there should be no problem. Your best bet is to contact the nearest Adams retailer. If your not sure who that would be, you can find it on the Adams website. The club appears to be a model that Adams hasn't made in some time, so I'm not sure how they'd handle it from a warranty standpoint. It's not uncommon for manufacturers to keep some discontinued models on hand just to cover situations like this. You should always be careful when buying clubs online. There are lots of counterfeits out there, although that's probably less likely with a brand like Adams. They make good quality equipment, but I think the scum that make the knockoffs focus more on TaylorMade, Titleist, Callaway, Ping, etc. Good luck!

I report 'em all. I enjoy reporting the higher scores. The lower ones are the ones that bother me. But you gotta report all of them. Integrity of the game.

Went to the range today and continued to work on steepening my backswing. I hit 180 or so balls with mostly my 8 iron and 6 iron. I used the alignment stick behind every ball I hit so I wasnt coming from the inside. 90% of the swings were between 1/2 and 3/4 length and slow. Im trying to ingrain this slowly into my full swing. I was also conscience of how I finished the swings. Im trying to feel more around with my hands in front of my torso.
