I use a Club Glove Golf towel. Dipped 1/3 of the way in water at #1 and re-dipped at 10. Carry it with me to every green. Helps clean the ball and grooves. I've started wearing a glove again with it being hot and humid as my hands get a little sweaty. Going to the glove has helped reduce the issues of repripping the club in the downswing.

In the clubhouse before my last round I bought a club glove towel that came with a small one to carry in your pocket.  Walking down the fairway on #1, I had already lost it.

I'll lose anything that isn't attached, so no, I don't use a QB towel.

I don't carry a towel to the green with me, but I always have a half wet, half dry towel on my bag to clean ball and clubs.  It gets used for clubs more than ball because I use the course supplied ball washers most of the time.

I am in Houston also and sweat profusely. Not a good combination down here. I use a full size bath towel for me to wipe with between every swing (not kidding). I also wear rain gloves down here in the Summer due to heavy sweating. Never have to take them off and it beats hanging 6 gloves on the cart trying to keep them dry!

i carry one onto the green when it is very humid and wet in the mornings.  mine is not for sweat though.  i don't sweat that bad.  mine is for drying and cleaning the ball.  when it is dry, i just spit on the ground and rub the ball on it to get the dirt off.

    • Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

    • Eh. He broke ONE of Tiger's records. Youngest to be ranked #1 in AJGA. It didn't help that Tiger's birthday is in late December, or that Tiger didn't play many AJGA events before he was 15. Did he do any of these things? • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
    • Just stumbled onto the article.  Totally random and thought it might be interested to hear other thoughts. maybe I am tired of all the LIV crap and  this just caught my attention.
