That's what I mean.

$300 - the price of a decent second hand driver with a good shaft.

And "quality" -  the equal of any other OEM.

Shorty, I don't think you understand. It says "Scotty Cameron" right there on the putter head and the grip ... AND it's got 3 red dots on the back of it. (And its really, really shiny) Now do you get it???

King Arthur did not select Excalibur.... Harry Potter did not select his wand....

You're going to dare and select your own....PUTTER?

In all seriousness, get your ass to a big box brick-and-mortar and play around with their stock. Find what you like and do some research. It doesn't matter if I tell you that my Odyssey is Rick James on a scale of "wow". What matters is what works for you. Go put your hands on them and actually putt with them and buy what works.

I agree. But that contradicts what you said about going to a brick and mortar store and picking a putter off the rack.

Get properly fitted for a putter and it will be the last putter you ever buy (unless you lose it, or damage it, I suppose).

Well, what I mean is that it is at the least better to pick one up and actually use it and get a feel for the design and comfort within the alignment aids, weight, etc. rather than take my advice through a forum recommendation.

Plus I've gone through a fitting with a putter and replaced it out of stupidity twice. Add stupidity by attraction to shiny new things after "or damage it" and you're right!
