I don't use a driver just 3 wood and 7 wood. once I tee it up I just cant make good contact I hit it just fine with my irons. I think it might be mental any advice.

A little bit of info may help. Can you hit your 3 and 7 wood without a tee?

Im not the OP but I have the same problem. I use 5 wood and 7 wood right now instead of driver  and 3 wood and its cause I  top the ball with those clubs.

Probably just getting used to golf. The longer the club, the smaller the margin of error when swinging. Either that, or tee it up higher.

I think it might be I'm positioning the ball off my left shoulder when position the ball closer inside say anywhere between my left nipple to my right armpit I not topping

I usually sky the ball or hit it off the heal. the thing is I only tee it up no more than a half inch.  the 7 wood I can hit off the ground.

I used to use a 5W and 3W, when I teed them up it would only be 1/4". They were just barely off the ground so I could use a sweeping swing rather than an upward driver swing. I also setup the ball somewhere between a long iron and a driver.

I'm discovered a new way to top as lately it's been with the fairway woods right off the ground rather than with the driver from the tee If I'm focused to much with my eyes on top on the ball and aim there I will top as well

It sounds like you might be hitting fat. This club needs to make contact first then lightly sweep the grass after.

Push that tee to where it is barely sticking out of the ground... Swing like you would as if it was siting on the ground. Also, when you tee up, you have to move the ball position forward a little.
