Bethpage Walk Up

Thinking to try to walk up on Yellow course Monday around lunch time (2 of us). Never played there without a reservation before. Anyone have an idea what to expect for a wait? Thanks

Yellow might not be a problem on Monday afternoon.  I'd get there before 1pm to avoid any rush for those that just want to play 9 holes.

Yellow is the walk up course. Not sure if that makes things better or worse.

Always call ahead. It's fall. Greens might be aerated. School teams might be playing - usually that means slower play than usual. Do you have to play yellow? If you allow green and blue, many more options. In general, shouldn't be a problem.

Only Blue has been aerated, rest are end of October I believe. I would like to play Yellow and it's the walk up course for Sept. Guess I will scope it out around noontime and see how it goes. If too busy head to Sunken Meadow.

I was going to attempt to walk on tomorrow morning (Sunday) Mid September thru first snow fall is usually ok to get on.
