As oppposed to the, "innovation" of Titleist and Ping?

I think it's safe to say that Titleist and Ping have true innovation in golf.  Do they change the way they look every six months?  Most of the time, no.  But do you know EXACTLY what you're getting with them?  Yes - you know you're going to be getting quality, craftsmanship, and a club from one of the greatest golf manufacturers in the world.  With Nike, I can't say I feel that way.  Would I go out and buy Titleist shoes over Nike?  Doubtful - so why would I trust a shoe maker/grand marketer with my clubs when every shot on the golf course counts?

You're completely right IMO, but I think agreeing to disagree is the best thing for this thread.  I also think people that have been playing longer will have a greater tendency to be opposed to Nike than newer players, just like you'd never catch me wearing an orange puma flatbill :-D .

Like I said before, I'm sure if I hit their blades I would like the feel of them, but they just aren't going to ever be in my top brands to check out if I can buy any club I want.
