It's not the Re/Max, but still, impressive.

There is no shortage of big, strong men who work for various golf companies, but the longest hitter in the golf industry barely weighs 150 pounds and looks like an escapee from a junior golf camp.

Grant Martens, the winner of Golfweek's Industry Cup Long Drive Championship, is 24 years old. A good-natured chap, Martens did everything but playfully flex his muscles when asked about his weight.

I really feel like height vs distance is a bit of a myth..

Maybe with the correct identical technique then the taller guy might be able to gain a few extra yards.. I really dont buy into this "taller guys have distance so much easier"..

Good on the guy, I'm over the moon that it wasn't some 6 5'' steroid freak who won it like the usual long drive events.

apples to oranges.  completely different formats, and resulting distances.  the big guys in the remax thing hit it 110 yards farther, albeit from elevated tees and to a much wider fairway.
