Back in July I sat down here and wrote who I thought were my Biggest Surprises & Disappointments of the 2013 season. The LPGA had only played 15 of the 28 tournaments on the schedule at that point, a lot has changed since then. Now that the season has ended, it is time to take a final look.

@Tontj5 , please don't take this as anything other than genuine curiosity, but you've been on this site for 2 years, and in nearly 300 posts, I don't think I've seen a single one about anything other than the LPGA or some other form of women's golf. Is that the only interest you have in the game? Do you follow any of the men's tours or even play the game yourself? How did your fascination with the LPGA develop? Again, genuinely curious......tell us a little about yourself. Thanks!

Sure I will be glad to.  I have been a big golf fan all my life. I watch just about everything televised including the PGA, LPGA, Web.com, Seniors Tour, etc. My wife and I attend about 8 LPGA tournaments a year. Everyone covers the PGA, so I have chosen to cover the LPGA.

I am also a credentials media person for the LPGA.

I do not advertise on my website or make a single penny. I just want to help promote the girls. that's about all there is to it.

I am an avid golfer, I was an 8 handicap in my prime, I am now a 12.

My LPGA blog by the way, is the #1 golf blog in the world, and that includes PGA blogs.

Thanks for asking

Good to know.

So here's how we're going go to proceed going forward… You'll be allowed to continue posting links to your hideous blog here so long as you post content in other threads - content about golf, not women specifically, not even about pros, but just about golf. Instructional threads, equipment threads, whatever…

You've been allowed to promote your own site for far too long, and you've never contributed to this site in another fashion. You don't even link to this site in your blogroll.

P.S. Your Technorati ranking is irrelevant, and largely a product of the fact that you've been doing the same thing on other sites that you've done here.

Interesting. Just struck me as a little strange that your only participation on here is limited to the ladies. Thanks for the insight.

Before I started posting on here 2 years ago, I wrote to you guys for permission, which was granted.

FYI, I get about 1200 hits a day on my blog and only about 4 a day come from here.

On the other hand, I promote your blog on my website, with a link, and according to the stats I get from Google, you get about 9 per day from me.

So who's promoting who?

Anytime you want me to stop posting, just kick me out. I'll understand. I keep posting here because I know people on here do read my stuff and are usually very nice and compliment my blogs often.

And judging by your answer, it's been revoked.

Not one single person has been referred to us via your site in the last 30 days. In fact, if I look at our analytics for the entire calendar year 2013, not one single person has visited this site as a referral from any domain name that includes the letters "tony" . This despite allowing you to essentially spam us for two years.

1200 hits per day? My personal blog gets 1200 page views a day excluding search bots, and nobody visits my personal blog.

Anytime you want me to stop posting, just kick me out. I'll understand. I keep posting here because I know people on here do read my stuff and are usually very nice and compliment my blogs often.

Goodbye. Consider yourself kicked out.

I don't know what the plans are for our group on Friday but even if we don't make it for dinner with the rest of the Friday arrivals, I'll be more than happy to meet up somewhere for a beer or something.
    • Taking your dispersion and distance in consideration I analyzed the 4 posible ways to play the hole, or at least the ones that were listed here. I took the brown grass on the left as fescue were you need to punch out sideways to the fairway and rigth of the car path to be fescue too.  Driver "going for the green"  You have to aim more rigth, to the bunker in order to center your shotzone in between the fescue.  Wood of 240 over the bunkers I already like this one more for you. More room to land between the fescue. Balls in the fescue 11% down from 30% with driver. Improve of score from 4.55 to 4.40. 4 iron 210 yards besides the bunkers.    Also a wide area and your shot zone is better than previous ones. This makes almost the fescue dissapear. You really need to hit a bad one (sometimes shit happens). Because of that and only having 120 yards in this is the best choice so far. Down to 4.32 from 4.40. Finally the 6 Iron 180 yards to avoid all trouble.    Wide area an narrow dispersion for almost been in the fairway all the time. Similar than the previous one but 25 yards farther for the hole to avoid been in the bunkers. Average remains the same, 4.33 to 4.32.  Conclusion is easy. Either your 4iron or 6 iron of the tee are equaly good for you. Glad that you made par!
