Maybe Andy Andy is in Kelzzy's class in Junior High?

We can only hope the infestation doesn't spread further.

you ask "is anyone old enough to remember" meaning you have to go back quite some time to find an example of a player attack? Regardless of the situation, tell me with a straigut face that a PGA player attacking a spectator isnt a massive fine and suspenion?

First, the PGA Tour player wouldn't have to; there's plenty of security at these events. A few years ago, a criminal tried to run from the police and ran through a tournament - I think it was in Florida? Second, attacking a spectator would be a problem; defending oneself from someone committing a crime wouldn't be. Third, there are plenty of more recent examples of problems for people trying to disrupt sporting events. A few years ago, a fan tried to disrupt a Cleveland Browns game and got sacked by James Harrison for his trouble (and no, Mr. Harrison wasn't fined for this). Here's a rather entertaining video of the event: -
I think if im being attacked by a mob id be justified, but you dont give much credit to your sport if you think golf spectators would commonly do this. All im saying is that before anyone attacks anyone, they should stop and consider "what if this person has a gun" the escalation occurs when the spectators answer a prank with a mob assault, the attackee drawing a gun is reactionary, not the primary aggressor. But despite all of this, since when are golfers known to riot?
Just in the off chance you're not trolling and are actually considering doing this: the prank you're describing is illegal, and carrying a firearm onto the golf course for the event is a felony, even with your alleged permit; this assumes you even get it in (I went through a metal detector at the last event I went to). Furthermore, drawing your weapon wouldn't be justified, at least from a legal point of view: once you commit a crime, actions related to it can't fall into "self defense." So, if you did somehow get the gun in and used it defensively after being attacked, you're looking at at least attempted murder charges; same reason if a drug purchase goes bad, the buyer can't shoot the dealer in self defense (even if he or she isn't the one starting the violence in the latter case).

Riot?  No.  Detain the punk using whatever level of force is appropriate to do so?  Absolutely.

But again......13 year-olds don't get to carry firearms any more than they're allowed unaccompanied to the tournament in the first place.  We're right back to your dad whipping your ass.

In the very unlikely event that you're not actually 13, let's play this through though....

.....you're committing a crime by interfering with the professional golfer.  By pulling your firearm to prevent capture in the commission of that crime, in the state of Florida you have now committed a felony with a MINIMUM MANDATORY sentence of 10 years in prison.  Bump that min/man to 20 years if the firearm is discharged, whether anyone is hurt or not.

Alright, I'm done feeding the troll, whatever his age.

Yep.

Like Kurt Russell said in my favorite movie Tombstone "No need to go heels to get the bulge on a tub like you".

A tackle like Jacobson had in the Open would be enough to do the job.

Premise is flawed.  Tiger Woods wouldn't be in the fairway.

I had more respect for you when I thought you were a troll.

I'm not sure what a "straigut face is", but you are right. Sadly, the player would be fined and suspended.

Now do me a favor. Go in the other room and ask your Mommy or Daddy what would happen at their workplace if a bunch a##holes came in and started screwing with the employees while they were trying to earn their living.

Is anyone old enough to remember what Baltimore Colts linebacker Mike Curtis did to a fan who tried to run off the field with the football? I heard an interview with him years later and he said something like (paraphrasing) "I was trying to work (do my job) and the guy was screwing with my livelihood".

I have to ask a naive question... we're all being trolled by the O.P., correct?

Matt Chatham did that in the 2008 Superbowl to a naked streaker.  He decked the guy ass over tea kettle.  It was hilarious.  Better than any half time show.

Not sure if it's a PGA thing, or specific to each tournament, but every one I've been to expressly prohibits weapons of any kind (firearms, knives, ...nunchucks)

    • On my car I got the extended power train warranty. I do read the fine print most of the time. Though at now 37, my eyes aren’t what they were 10 years ago.    The problem with most of these extended warranties on electronics and appliances is you don’t register the warranty with the place you buy the warranty from, which I’ve always found strange. Unless it’s GameStop then you know Alina drops her Switch in the next two years and the screen cracks they’ll replace it. No questions asked.    You buy a slow cooker at Walmart for $50 and the extended warranty is say $6, you have to go through a third party to register your product for the warranty, and it’s pretty damn annoying. Target is the same way. Anything you buy the extended protection on you have to go through a third party.    Why do retailers go through a “broker” for warranties? Because they don’t wanna deal with it? They make me talk to someone from another country, that I can barely understand, when I need my warranty fulfilled.   Sorry for the rant.
    • You may be able to find a regular flex Blueboard on the second hand market. I’m little more than half your age so I swing a shaft that launches pretty low so I don’t have a lot of experience with Regular flex (other than when I try to hit it I miss way to the left).    There are other shafts, such as the newer Ping Alta that I’ve heard good things about. And one that no one talks about. The Jupiter shaft. You can get this shaft for a $100 with a grip and your Ping adapter installed. I was talking to the golf manager at Dick’s Sporting Goods here and he has one in his driver and has nothing but good things to say about it. I thought about getting one for my Paradym Triple Diamond to play it a little shorter, but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.

    • Meanwhile, another old Tour Edge guy switches to Callaway for this season. I have a different problem, course dependent set-ups. What I’m wondering is if @dragonsmhas the 8 iron set 5-PW, AW, GW or just 5-PW, GW. Because the PW is 42°, AW 47°, and GW 52°. Because that could potentially be a gap there. The 5-iron to 6-iron length jump is 5/8” instead of 1/2” so you should be careful of that.    @WUTiger the problem most people have with 3-woods is they don’t play them far enough back into their stance. And they usually don’t have enough loft and the shaft is too long. So 3HL, 4 or 5-wood is probably better for most golfers. I do the “Frankenwood” approach. I have both the 3+ and 5 woods. I typically will either add two degrees to the 3+ on 6600 yards or longer courses, or take a degree off the 5-wood on shorter courses than 6300 or so, and use the 5-wood shaft for both. I don’t usually find a situation where I need both the 3 and 5 wood on a course. I don’t play from 7000 yards it’s no fun. Edit: I mostly agree with @WUTiger on the gapping, although a lot of the newer even fixed hosel fairway woods are made better than what we had when we were playing the old Exotics XRails.
