Thanks for the additional information.  I plan to get much more practice time in (even if just simulator) before the trip as I'm told Pawleys, Caledonia and Willbrook are more challenging than the three we played last year.

if you play the proper T i don't think any of them are real hard. Caledonia from the tips can be a beast at times but for the most part has plenty of room to miss unless you really spray it. Willbrook I don't consider a hard course. pawleys has its spots...i guess i am jaded by some other places i have played but i don't think you will have a problem. 3 on and 2 putts is a fun round if you are a 15 or HC.

Driver- Callaway Razor somthing or other
3W- Taylor Made R11S
3H Rocketballz
4I-PW- MP-59

You're a much better golfer than I am, so we may have differing opinions on how tough a course plays.   I highly doubt we will play any of the courses from the tips, we choose tee boxes depending on each courses length.  Thanks for the feedback.

  • 10 months later...

First weekend of March for my group and can't wait. It's my 8th time going

We play colonial charters, Grande Dunes, Pine Lakes and Indian Wells

I sneak in 2 more rounds with a few of the guys. Most likely Possum Trot just to spend all morning at their short game facility.

Other round still up in the air. The m partial to Wild Wing or Prestwick or Long Bay.
