Sorry, didn't see that post.  Would be interesting to see them side by side.  Part of me wonders if this had the name Scotty Cameron or Bettinardi behind it if people would question it as much?  I understand people are skeptical, but I truly think when people experience it they will see it is nothing like any other products on the market.  I don't think I have heard him use the word torque balanced though.  All I know is that between the new grip that he got approved by the USGA and the putter head I have never rolled in more putts.  I have done fittings for +3 up to 25 handicap golfers and they can't believe how easy this putter gets the ball on line.  He is probably going to send one in for review, just busy at the Reno Tahoe this week.

Why are you making more putts? Are you able to roll the ball on your line and you didn't with other putters due to a better stroke with this putter? Is the ball rolling better and sooner off of the putter face? Are you more accurate with your aim?

Maybe there are putters that would make me improve in those areas (can't say) but a very, very high percentage of the putts I miss are due to a bad read or not matching the correct speed to the read. Very, very seldom do I miss putts because they don't roll well or not start on my intended line.

The best putter money can buy wouldn't help me make more correct reads. Even if a putter guaranteed I would never miss a putt that I read correctly those made putts would only account for a small portion of my missed putts.

I think we should all just accept the fact that we won't be getting a straight answer out of this fellow who is mysteriously linked to the putter in question. Let the thread die I say.

Hey guys, I'm the owner and inventer, out of respect for Isaac I've stayed out of this thread. One patent is under review and the other is coming up. the grip technology is visible and will help you make more putts when installed on any putter, however the math formula for balancing a mass to stay square to the arc that the lie angle generates in a pendulum putting motion is and will remain a trade secret. Resistance to twisting can be done with front/back weighting and heel/toe weighting and combinations thereof . Forward shaft lean is helpful as well(offset)....the putter is all about real physics no gimmicks. It's being very received by many good players as well as some tour players(PGA and mini). All I can tell you is the putter works and works very well and in time more more professional players will be using it on tours and at your local club levels. The sandtrap will be receiving a putter for review within the next year and I will be paying for advertising and sponsorship on this site as putter sales take off . golferono has not been paid and has tried to show you guys a new product but cannot answer all your questions. If you have questions and Isaac permits I will be glad to answer them if I can.

It's Erik not Isaac. @iacas is his username.

I just have one question for now, can it be made with a blade shape or is the "science" only possible in a mallet shape? I can't aim a mallet for beans as was clearly proven to me during an unofficial Edel mini-fitting.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

Ok I got to give it to you you guys crack me up sometimes, thanks for clarifying it's Erik....and yes any mass can be made to do the same however a blade has very little front/back weighting and will lose a little moi unless you make it really long from heel to toe. I've already modified an existing blade and it works very well, however the shaft lean obsures the top line and alignment features. The mallet and mid mallet have the necessary depth to locate the shaft far enough back so it doesn't intrude on the top line.

That has got to be the dumbest promotional video I've ever seen for a club. WTF? They hung it from a broken crutch to demonstrate how great a putter it is? That doesn't mean the putter's dumb though, just the video. How does it workout for people who have trouble aiming mallets? Not trying to pile on, honest question. It was demonstrated to me very clearly that mallets do not fit my eye and I therefor struggle to aim them. Does this putter address this issue or is it only suitable for those who "see" mallet alignment properly?

Lie Angle Balancing is now being widely accepted by PGA club professionals as the real deal and possibly one if the biggest advancements in putter technology(it's real and it really works)

That doesn't answer my question.

I believe many issues with aiming a mallet have to do with the length of the site line, top line shape but more importantly how the putter soles out and if it has a neutral shaft lean or forward or backward relative to the sole plate not the face loft...oddly enough the usga requires putter loft to be measured to the sole plate like a wood instead of face loft to shaft like an iron. Back to your question, many putters throughout history have intentionally skewed the site lines to bias for what your talking about, is it wrong or right? Who knows, however it is legally to do so. The top line of the DF putter is unobstructed and uses a very simply 'T' and is about the same size as a blade but more importantly also soles out square to that 'T' and with forward shaft lean built in outs your hands right back over the ball but uses a Press Grip(putter grip) to eliminated the awkward feel of forward lean

Has this club been tested by the USGA and found to be conforming?

I'm curious as to why no PGA Tour pros have this in their bag.  As Kevin Kisner will tell you, one stroke can mean the difference between millions of dollars.  You'd think they'd be willing to buy one for the guaranteed drop in their scores it will bring.

Yeah, these guys probably aren't paying pros to play them and the putter is almost certainly not capable of delivering any measurable performance improvement over a similar major brand putter to justify pros leaving money on the table to bag the putter.

    • Yea Club Rat said it. I really enjoyed the Senator and the Judge, then over to Grand National where there a couple good courses plus a fun par 3. The one I do play whenever I visit there is Ross Bridge; something about this course that is just good fun. I hope to play more of the courses in the future, but tomorrow is promised to no one, so hope is the key word. Have Fun, iSank

    • Day 56: 4/19/2024 Okay, even though I'll be teeing it up in a tournament in less than a week. I couldn't find time to get to the range today.  I spent time on the indoor putting mat.  And I spent time in front of the mirror with my 7 iron. Then again later with the driver.  I also thoroughly cleaned all my clubs.
