I am currently in need of new grips on my Ping irons.I have always used a standard grip size.I am a high handicap with a slow swing.I have been having problems with my hands being to fast and flipping the ball high and short. My friends all say I should use a bigger grip to slow my hands down do any of you think that is correct

Unfortunately bigger grips won't really help, you're flipping because of something you are doing in your swing. Good chance you don't have the weight far enough forward at impact. I would recommend taking a look at Key #1 and #2 videos.

Yep, I have to agree with this post. I tried to cure the same problem you are having with mid sized grips. Didn't work. I found out I didn't like the grips either and they were top of the line GP muticompound. When it came time to re grip again I went back to the Callaway stock grips standard size.

By the way, one of the pro shop guys at the course where I play the most saw one of my flip shots that went short and to the right. He told me I was all arms and that I wasn't clearing my hips out of the way because I didn't turn them enough on my takeaway. I listened and on the next hole turned harder with my hips and upper half until I was looking at the ball over my left shoulder, no more flip.

In my  bag:

Driver, Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 9.5 stiff

3, 5 woods: Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 15,18 degrees Stiff

2 hybrid: Callaway Diable Edge Tour 18 degrees R (out when the 5 wood is in)

3,6 hybrids: Callaway Diablo Edge 21 S and 30 degrees R

4,5 hybrids: Callaway Razr X HL 24 and 27 degrees Stiff

7-AW irons: Callaway Razr HL graphite R shafts

SW 54 Callaway X Series Jaws CC Slate Fujikura Graphite Stiff

Putter: Odessey White Ice 1 Blade Putter.

Ball...looking for any ball that hates water, sand, long grass, and getting lost in the woods.

I can't find any, so forced to use ones that seem to love all the above.
