Hey guys use to be an ok golfer in my day but I have recently been trying to get back in the game and was having trouble. I read about pure strike and throught I would give it a try. I read about the 5 keys and watched a free intro video and it helped me at the range so I bought the program.

I just received the dvd's and am going to document my review in journey through the program here.

I am also interested in your review. The closest 5SK instructor is over an hour away. I thought it might be prudent to invest in the DVD to maximize my learning curve before I go and book a lesson. So please review away. I am particularly interested in how well or obtuse you think the concepts are presented. I have found, for example, Stan Utley`s Short Game book to have excellent information that resulted in noticeable improvement, but was terribly difficult to decipher. At least for me.

There are guys here that have traveled from much further away to see Dave and Erik. As for the 5 keys, although I don't have the DVD's, the video's on the website are a huge help for me..

If possible, go see a 5SK instructor, they'll help you identify and work on your priority piece.

Or you can do online lessons with 5SK instructors

Either one will speed up and simplify the improvement process

I drove 8+ hours to see Dave and Erik. 16 hours round trip. Worth every second of the drive. If I lived an hour away I'd go see them all the time, no question. In addition to being great instructors, they're fun guys.

Yours in earnest, Jason.

Sorry for not being clear.  Dave and Eric are not 1 hour away, they are more like 12+ hours away. I was talking about the 5SK instructor in Myrtle Beach. I know nothing about him. That's why i thought it might be beneficial to review the DVD first and become somewhat familiar with the concepts and drills.

[EDIT: I do plan on seeing the 5SK instructor soon]
