I SOLD ALL MY IRONS!!! What do I do for the month I don't have clubs????!!!

67 posts in this topic

Yes  I sold everything. I am going to buy new clubs but I "should" wait until the funds hit my paypal account... Until then, it could be a month before I have anything to use. 2 weeks to get funds, 1-2 week for the ordered clubs to come in...

Can some one send me a loaner set...

Some courses have rental clubs, like $10 for the round.... I don't have anything worth loaning out unfortunately.

Wait????? Nah just charge those bad boys and pay the card off once the funds arrive. Or maybe you may want to wait until the 4th of July to see if anyone is having decent sales?

I suppose I have a really nice golf ball I could loan you.  I would want you to insure it though because I would be devastated if I did not get it back.

Geez I'd feel horrible if I lost your prized possession

Where do you live?

White Mountains in New Hampshire

I got rid of credit cards and new Titleist is not usually on the "sale" list...

Wait, didn't you just win that U.S. Open Contest?

Offer to trade that driver for a decent set of used irons you can use in the interim.

Cool I would love to own a set. How difficult did you think they were to hit?

I am a little bummed to see the MP33s go...

Well, you won't be once you hit the single digits! ;-)

Honestly, the mishits were not that bad. No worse than other irons. They had great feedback and you pretty much knew when you were going to be ten yards short or ten yards long. I decided to switch to the AP's for longevity and a bigger sweet spot.

I played great rounds with them and hit some of the most accurate shots with them. I would have kept them but I don't like things sitting around that I don't use.

Let me know what you think of the new clubs. I personally never hit AP2's worth a darn (it was weird, both times I tried them they went about 20 yards shorter than any other club, including my own that have the "traditional" lofts), but they look so pretty.

It took a while to get into a groove when I was testing them. I was keeping the 6 iron right at 180 on the trackman. I don't know how the transition will go. I'll try to post a review on here.

I assume you still have a putter so putt, putt and putt some more.
