I have the pro launch red shaft in my 5 wood and was thinking of putting the pro launch blue in my xhot 3 deep 3 wood since I have a very low ball flight. Is it better to go with the blue for higher launch or stick with the red?

Mack,

You're giving us almost zero information to go on. Fill us in...

  • What is the loft on your XHot 3Deep 3W? 13° or 14.5° ?
  • Does it have the stock PX Aldila Velo Pro shaft? If so, what flex?
  • What model of 5W do you have?

The ProLaunch Blue (64 grams) charts as a high launch, anti-hook shaft. It comes in R, S and X flex, and sells for $40 through GolfWorks. You need to try the PL.Blue on a launch monitor to see how it feels for you.

Related matter: You have no "What's In My Bag" information in your Sig area. Your club mix and shaft flexes might give us some clues on how you approach the game.

Focus, connect and follow through!
