Gawd I hate that stuff. Makes me feel like crap, muscle aches, stomach pains, and no energy. And to top it all off, I can't sleep at night, most nights I fall asleep around 4-5am...just sucks!!!

I used to take it (now on Crestor) but never had the died effects you mention - you should infirm your doctor. Muscle soreness is a known side effect though.

Talked my Doc today, he pulled me off the lipator. Have to get a blood test tomorrow, and I couldn't eat anything after 7pm. Although I could have eaten, but went to the range instead, now I'm STARVING...

At least I'll get a good nights sleep for a change.

Used to take it ... Doc moved me to Crestor ... My guess is, so will your doc ... Good luck to you!

I looked on the Crestor site. Seems it has more side effects than Lipator does.

Muscle soreness is a side effect ... However, I do not suffer from it ... My cholesterol is very high without the medication ... Like 300+ high ... So it's a value add for me. Good luck, I hope the doc finds something for you

Was on Lipitor, now on Crestor ... it is strong, so the Doc may reduce the dosage ... I am at 5 mg of Crestor, and I asked about Zetia, and take a dose of that ... one works on the liver, the other through the digestive tract (Zetia).

I also take the QoQ10 enzyme supplement.

    • I agree with @pganapathy about removing some clubs. I would recommend removing the 2, 3, 4 and 5 irons for now. Play with Driver 3W 5W 3H 5H 6 iron 7 iron 8 iron 9 iron PW ( you don’t have listed) 52 56 Putter Th 60 wedge can be difficult for new players, but you could keep that If your 3H is adjustable, increased the loft to be more like a 4H. Play with these on course and see if you can get a feel of the actual yardages for each club and especially the gaps between them. It may take 10 or more rounds. A par 3 course is helpful for determining the gaps in the irons and some woods too. A device like a Shot Scope H4 can really help give you your actual yardage on course.
