200 yard drives with 9 Wood

How do you hit that 5-wood? That's sounds like it might be a great answer. Plenty of loft and a little more shaft. With your swing speed I'd think that would be an easy 220+ club.....?

Too early to tell. I only tried it once on a 195 yd. par 3 and sailed the ball past the green and a wee bit to the left of it.

Try a driver such as Taylormade sldr S in a 14 or 16 degree loft, as you have demonstrated with the 9 wood, loft is your friend. One reason why you are hitting that so long is you are hitting straight because of all the loft and the shaft is shorter, easy to control and allowing for solid center face contact. Good luck

Oh, I'm not stating, "build a driver" ... but a junkie wonders if you can take that 26 deg wood and pair it up with another inch of shaft length with work done by a competent club maker. But there is also the other side saying "if it's not broke ..."

If I get really good, maybe I will give this driver a try
