Of course, it's pretty hard when three players take up 30% of your cap room.

It is a phenomena that, as an Eagles fan, you are unfamiliar with.  When a team wins Super Bowls it generally has to pay its key players.

You won't have to worry about that.

But then again, what the hell do I know?

Check your calendar. This is the 2015 season , not 2011.

6-10. You could look it up.

At least our irrational fans are not the de facto GM of the football team.

And I bet Chip Kelly is glad you are not.

Thanks. Glad you recognize that I am not being irrational. ;-)

Chip Kelly just blew up a decent 10-6 football team because it was not good enough. Who knows what will happen but at least he is not standing pat. At least I have hope of better things. What are the Giants doing with their 6-10 team?

This all started because I said the Giants stink. Am I wrong?

No you are not, but Adding to a good team will usually give better results than just blowing it up IMO.. By the time these guys get it together they will have gone through another 5 years of mediocrity, and it'll be time to blow the team up again.. Chips Job is on the line, and maybe his head coaching career in general at the NFL level.

Yeah, his job is on the line. And I have to hope he is right because he really has nothing to lose. If he flames out in the NFL he will just end up with the next good college job that opens up at that point and not look back.

It's also not 2014 either. Still 0-0 for 2015.

His moves the chains had a lot to do with the o line in front of him. I agree that he won't have to put up those numbers and he will share time. If that's the case though why pay him so much? Why not sign Mathews and take a rb in the draft? I like Murray but he's a product of his environment and he can't stay healthy.

This was my thought as well, Matthews and Sproles or Murray and Sproles would have been better than most tandems in the league and they could have drafted a RB as a backup.  Adding Murray and Matthews while they have Sproles seems like a waste since only one will see enough carries to keep them happy unless someone gets injured.

Watch for the trade of Bradford, Matthews (who hadn't signed yet as of last night and may not), Sproles and picks to trade up and grab Mariotta. Just a thought. I'd put Murray in the trade mix but no one is gonna pay him that kinda dough, cept maybe Oak. Didn't Kelly recruit him?

NFLPA Received Numerous Complaints From Free Agents Harassed By Cleveland Browns

WASHINGTON—Expressing their growing concern after being inundated with grievances throughout the past week, officials from the NFL Players Association confirmed Monday that they have received multiple complaints from free agents being harassed by the Cleveland Browns front office. “We’ve unfortunately heard from a host of free agents around the league who have been forced to deal with continuous unwanted and, frankly, pretty aggressive overtures from Browns front office executives and coaches,” said NFLPA executive director DeMaurice Smith, adding that allegations against the Browns organization include calling potential free agent signings at all times of night, leaving long, rambling messages on their voicemails, and mailing them numerous Browns jerseys already stitched with their name and number. “Several players have independently complained that Browns officials are constantly sending them text messages offering to fly them out to Cleveland and treat them to expensive dinners and a few nights on the town. They evidently just won’t take no for an answer.” At press time, Smith had received a phone call from a distressed free agent claiming that Browns general manager Ray Farmer has been standing on his doorstep holding a contract offer for the past four hours and has refused to leave.

Oh geez . . . Tebow worked out for the Eagles? Say it ain't so, Chip!

The guy's built like a linebacker. Let him run the read option stuff. He knows a Kelly style offense from being under Urban Meyer's offense.

I give this move a B

Well, they didn't sign him, so I'm not sure how much of a move it is. What this conversation really needs is more commentary from Jim Brockmire. And it's a little bit too bad he didn't sign, because I miss watching him play; he was exciting to watch. Tim Tebow combined the fiery leadership of Ray Lewis with the throwing ability of Ray Lewis.

Lol, Tebow lover here but that was funny.

    • Day 106 - Worked on chipping/pitching. Focus was feeling the club fall to the ground as my body rotated through.
    • Honestly, unless there's something about that rough there that makes it abnormally penal or a lost ball likely, this might be the play. I don't know how the mystrategy cone works, but per LSW, you don't use every shot for your shot zones. In that scatter plot, you have no balls in the bunker, and 1 in the penalty area. The median outcome seems to be a 50 yard pitch. Even if you aren't great from 50 yards, you're better off there than in a fairway bunker or the penalty area on the right of the fairway. It could also be a strategy you keep in your back pocket if you need to make up ground. Maybe this is a higher average score with driver, but better chance at a birdie. Maybe you are hitting your driver well and feel comfortable with letting one rip.  I get not wanting to wait and not wanting to endanger people on the tee, but in a tournament, I think I value playing for score more than waiting. I don't value that over hurting people, but you can always yell fore 😆 Only thing I would say is I'm not sure whether that cone is the best representation of the strategy (see my comment above about LSW's shot zones). To me, it looks like a 4 iron where you're aiming closer to the bunker might be the play. You have a lot of shots out to the right and only a few to the left. Obviously, I don't know where you are aiming (and this is a limitation of MyStrategy), but it seems like most of your 4 iron shots are right. You have 2 in the bunker but aiming a bit closer to the bunker won't bring more of your shots into the bunker. It does bring a few away from the penalty area on the right.  This could also depend on how severe the penalties are for missing the green. Do you need to be closer to avoid issues around the green?  It's not a bad strategy to hit 6 iron off the tee, be in the fairway, and have 150ish in. I'm probably overthinking this.
    • Day 283: Putted on my mat for a while watching an NLU video. Worked on keeping my head still primarily, and then making sure my bead is okay.
    • I do not follow amateur or Korn Ferry tour but this story might get me to pay attention. At age 15 to be as accomplished as he is makes me think we may be seeing a future star.  A story of him breaking out may help reinvigorate golf viewership. Miles Russell has a hot start, cools off but finishes with a 68 in first Korn Ferry event Miles Russell, a 15-year-old Jacksonville Beach resident, made his Korn Ferry Tour debut on...
    • Day 8: Indoor backswing work, mostly rehearsals of takeaway. Hit some balls wtih 6-iron working on adding flow, but not too Much which I tend to do, swaying too far away from target.
