I played the 910D2 for a couple of years.  I liked it a lot.

I could buy the r15 for about 30 dollars more. Is this a slam dunk that I should go with the r15?

Both are very good drivers. I think the 910 spins a tad more, but you really can't go wrong with either of them as long as they are set up to produce optimal launch conditions for your swing.

The R15 is probably a better driver in a bubble, but you're talking about marginal differences. Many people don't like the look of the R15, while few would object to the classic look of the Titleist. I'd get the R15 (or, rather, I'd wait the month or two for its price to drop hard), but it's mostly a toss-up.
