I Really Dislike the "Golf Dinosaur" Commercials

I almost hate them. Especially the one where the guy moans and chews on a tree. Ugh. Horrible. And since they're Golf Channel, you see them ALL the time…

Pretty well sums it up for me.  The guys doing the commercials look like idiots too.  Not funny or amusing in the least.  It was timely that I just found this thread, as the one with the doofus eating

The raptor office guy ones are awesome, especially when you have a 6 year old daughter who loves dinosaurs, just had a dinosaur birthday, and you just bought clubs for trying to get her into golf. :)

I find 99% of all commercials worse than these, so it's weird that these were singled out. At least they are somewhat clever (for a commercial).

Compared to almost every other commercial out there, they're really not that bad. You've got all the awful car insurance commercials. You've got Kars for Kids. You've got got car commercials. Then you've got LOCAL car commercials. As a matter of fact, now that I think about it, the golf dinosaur commercials really aren't that bad.

I've been seeing them quite a bit lately. The one that was on a moment ago, I chuckled out loud and said "that's such a stupid commercial." I don't even remember what they're advertising.

I did use the service when moving to Florida. It was simple and worked nicely. Commercials, awful.

I haven't watched a commercial in years. Everything I watch, including the Golf Channel, is pre-recorded or sometimes just start-delayed by half an hour. On an hour show there are 22 minutes of commercials or more, so by the time the show ends, I am almost caught up with real-time watching.  If I want to watch 2 things in a row, I record them both and watch later.  The DVR is the best TV invention since.... well, TV!

Pretty well sums it up for me.  The guys doing the commercials look like idiots too.  Not funny or amusing in the least.  It was timely that I just found this thread, as the one with the doofus eating the leaves just came on a couple minutes ago and I was thinking how stupid it was.

Pretty well sums up 95% of all commercials - golf or otherwise. But yeah, these are lame.

Most of the golf commercials out now are pretty lame. I guess the blond in the office golf dinosaur commercial is halfway decent looking. Otherwise both versions are awful. This is the only current golf commercial I find funny: [VIDEO]https://youtu.be/IM1LLGFmyzY[/VIDEO]
