Mine was 312 yards. Well hit but wind assisted... A couple at 297 and 299. All measured with game golf.

317 and it was the last time I played. Prior to that I had a bunch in the 302-307 range. It was always there on my Game Golf dashboard to remind me.

Hit a ~380 yard drive on a downhill par 4. Ball was past the "No Cart Beyond This Point" sign guarding the apron. It was cold outside, so the fairway was pretty hard, but still...

I flushed one today.  360 yard par 4 and I had 40 yards left.  I've played this course probably 200 times and this was the second longest I've ever hit on that hole.

363 - GPS measured (not game golf, but handheld GPS). I think I got about 50 yards of roll from the cart path. Also downhill.

Non cart path aided - I had maybe 5 drives go around 330.

I think this may be off topic, but I've been drinking  ever since I finished my round today.  I'm watching "18 Hole with Jimmy Hanlin" and think I want to get nekkid with Carling Nolan".  Back to long drives......

Of course you are going to have long drives when you are hitting paved streets...

Average drive - total distance - is 210 to 225 yards. Once a round, I hit one about 260 yards (don't know why I can't do it on other holes).

On my home No. 12, a 542-yard par 5 with a hilltop tee box, I got a couple of drives that ran out to 290 yards on hot, dry summer days.

We have five holes (par 4 or 5) where a driver shot hit less than perfect leads to disaster. So, there's only nine holes (home) where I hit a driver.

Focus, connect and follow through!

Mine was 309 across the corner of a dogleg on a par 5.  I caught it perfectly, kinda turned it around the corner and then lost it until we got up towards the corner and saw the ball WAY down the fairway.

Left me 150 to the pin... stuck an 8 iron about 10 feet to the right and barely missed the eagle putt.  Tapped in for birdie.

I also had a few others at 300 or more... but, my average drive is about 235.

My average drive has been 235 recently, and on Sunday I hit on 261, measured with Golfshot GPS on my phone.  On that drive I had a bit of a breeze behind me and it landed on a bit of a downslope.

338 yards while playing a course on vacation in North Carolina (Red Bridge). Also had a 334 yarder that day as well as a 306 yard tee shot. Course was fairly firm, I'd say: 3 300+ yard shots in one day and only about 4 the whole rest of the season haha. Commemorating stuff like this is the best part of Game Golf.

Well my longest drive at one point was 312 yards...a record that lasted all of 2 holes when I also banged another 300 yard plus drive in the same round! :)

Mine came just the other day on the last round of the year. (We've got a couple of inches of snow on the ground today.)  I stepped it off at 274.  I did have some wind behind me, but it was slightly up hill.  Unfortunately it ended up in a bad lie in the rough.  I chunked the approach, pitched on the green and three putted for a double bogey. ARRGH!

Next hole was against the wind and slightly downhill and went 249.  Perfect approach left a tap-in birdie.

I have no idea where those two drives came from.  My normal "on-the-screws" drive is 230 -- at best.  I think it was the Golf Gods trying to bring me back next season for more punishment.

Later,

John

Updated. Caught the cart path with wind at my back. Still a FIR. Hit an 8 iron onto the Par 5.

My average is 240 total distance. On a blistering July day in 105 degrees I piped one 313 yards. I was shocked because I'd never once come close to that. I suppose when you actually hit a g30 in the sweet spot the ball goes places.

    • Day 76 - Pretty sore today, so I opted for putting over my Stack session. Primary focus was on starting line, as my putting has been pretty poor this year.
    • Been a bit of delay in updates but I needed to come back east as my mom's health has taken a serious turn for the worse. In a 3 day span we learned she had a tumor to she has stage 4 cancer and stopped eating and drinking for the most part. She has had a rough 3 months but certainly didn't think we'd be at the point of setting up hospice for her. My mom was never into any sports really other than following the Red Sox because my dad was a big fan. She always cared about what we were involved in including asking about how golf went.  I have kept up with my 5 minutes of daily practice and will go to the gym here in NH tomorrow morning. Despite the somber nature of this trip my family has commented more than a few times about my weight loss so it's important to me to keep it up. I know my mom always wanted us happy in whatever we did so I'll continue with my fitness journey keeping that in mind.
    • Day 109- Putting drills on a putting green for 20 minutes.
    • Day 252: did a stack session. Did some slow rehearsal swings during breaks.
    • Day 82: 3/18/24 Tried a Stack session but could not certify my warmup. Finished with indoor chips and putting.
