This one is pretty wild. It's a golf set that fits into a backpack. All the heads have a quick lock and unlock system to attach to a single shaft. Backpack is only 15 pounds with the set inside.

Oncore golf balls. A hollow metal core puts the the weight out towards the perimeter for greater stability. The Avant is a new low compression (65) distance ball and the MAS1 is their original Tour style ball.

Im liking the look of the Kick X wood. 2 questions:

1. Are they a new company as ive never heard of them before

2. Would you put in the same catagory as the mini drivers, despite being a 2 wood, a bit like Mickelsons Phrankenwood?

Good action shot on the golfboard too, all thats missing is the Beach Boys!

They have been around for a good 3-4 years I think.  It's like a 3-wood had an ugly child with a driver. I demo'd it before and you could hit that thing out of a divot. I actually stepped on the ball a bit and still it that club off the deck.

It looks like they took the bubble out of the top of the club. That was one of the visual complaints I had. http://www.kickxgolf.com/blast-driveway.php

It's a cool club if you wanted to try to get something to replace a driver and 3-wood.

The previous Blast Driveway 12.5 has the compression cavity (CCT) with the weird crown. I have it and it's a beast. I saw they released a driver a couple months ago but I don't see it on their site anymore. Looks like they have a 15 degree fairway now.

Really liked the feel and look of the Hogan clubs, particularly the FT Worth hi which are more forgiving hollow cored long irons to compliment the regular FT Worth set. If you the at the toe you can see the port where they put foam in the toe to give it a softer feel and sound.

Big announcement today GAME GOLF just announce their new tech enabled grips with Golf Pride. The is incorporated into the grip itself for a sleeker looker.

The grips also send notifications for when you would ideally regrip each club. So the clubs you use the most often will notify you what percentage of life they have left and how long you can wait to regrip clubs you might not use as often.

Great idea, and eliminates the problem of losing the screw-in sensors.  Are they incorporating the GG sensor into all their grips or just specific models?

@SavvySwede Are the DVS backpack clubs USGA approved?

The GG sensors will only be Tour velvet style for now.

It's actually DV8 and I don't believe they are legal.

Thanks, Tour Velvet is a good choice, probably their most popular.  I didn't think the DV8 would be legal, seems there would be some gray area with them being "adjusted" during the round.

Great coverage, I wish I was there with you guys.

DST golf training aid. Got the chance to hit a few balls with it at the demo day. When you actually have it in your hands and line up the sight line it's a lot more dramatic a feel than the photos suggest. Earlier that day I was catching a lot of the demo clubs thin and I think the DST really help me get my low point back under control and take some nice divots again.

OOFOS recovery slides. Made of impact absorbing foam to let your feet recover after a long walk around the course. Also good for after walking all over the PGA show, the pair I got was a godsend at the end of the day.

PnP Rake wedge. Hit some great chip and pitch shots at the demo day though I couldn't get it to cooperate out of the bunker. They had a 56 and 60 the ridge have a higher bounce and are slightly angled to prevent the face from shutting down out of the rough.

I went to the DST Golf website to look at the Compressor club and was almost about to order it when my anti-virus software flagged the site and I noticed the lock wasn't present on the site meaning data was not being encrypted.

I'm not sure if it's just my PC but wanted to warn others just in case.
