golf bag options!

Do you use a stand bag or cart bag and why? Im stuck the middle of what I want just need some opinons!

Stand bag because I carry 90% of the time.

Stand bag. You can always strap one onto a golf cart, but you can't exactly hoof a cart bag around.

I use 2 stand bags - a SM Front 9 for cart and range; and a SM 2.5 for walking.

A stand bag is more versatile. You can both walk and ride with it, and it's much easier to take your bag with you onto the range than if you have a cart bag. 

I personally use a Sun Mountain Three-Five bag, which is very light and comfortable to carry, but with enough space inside of it to hold all the necessary items.

I'll join the crowd, I use a stand bag.  I like to carry when possible, but I can still strap it to a cart when I need to.  I use the Ping Hoofer I was given at the Newport Cup, and I love it.

I have a cart bag, as I either use my push cart, or ride in a cart.  My knees become very unhappy when I try to carry my bag.

Ditto @jamo, @mvmac, @Pretzel and @DaveP043.  Stand bags can easily strap onto carts and push carts, but cart bags are not very conducive to carrying.  I walk and carry about 25% of the time, so I like having both options.  (I actually went and looked at my last 20 on ghin and did the math.)

Ironically enough, if I walked a lot MORE, I'd probably buy a cart bag because I'd also likely own a push cart.

Like others in this thread, I use a stand bag so I have the option to carry, but almost exclusively use it with a push cart.  I will say that the "stand" hardware does make it a little difficult to attach to my push cart, but nothing that creates a real annoyance.

Cart bag, almost always ride, on rare times I don't, a caddie carries the bag.

Cart bag.  When I walk, I always use a push cart.  I carried my last bag about 10 years ago.
