How long should my ball test be?

Couple hours usually gives it away for me. Start with like 5 sleeves of different balls and go practice putting, chipping, and maybe some longer irons and woods. Driver doesn't really matter how it feels as long as you can hit it long and reasonably straight. Once you get rid of the ones you don't like you'll be able to narrow down and know after a round or two which you like the best.

If you are testing for durability, you may want to test for a full round (or more of that matters to you).
