Desert Dwellers Golf Group (Southern/Central Arizona)
Ok, there's about 6 million people living in Arizona between the Phoenix and Tucson Metropolitan Areas, and with all the golf courses I see, I imagine about 5.9 million of those people play golf. I'm a golf nut living in South Phoenix, and I want to unite all the people from SandTrap.com who can't wait until November so they can laugh at the weather report broadcasting on the clubhouse TV after they just played 18 in 70 degree sunshine that is predicting blizzards in Denver; the same people who risk heat stroke in July unless they tee off before 6AM and say to themselves "Man, I wished I still lived in Minnesota right now." I've been playing for about two years, been in Phoenix for about 3, and I work with a bunch of humps who don't play golf and my wife would rather play Chutes and Ladders than golf - and we're in our late 30s. This is the year I meet the other 5.9 million fans out there, and I know some of them log on to this site every day. Join me for some golf talk, Arizona style.
Cheers!
Michael
