Volume Forty-Two

I'm smuggling nine links across the border for you this week.
Top of the mornin' to ya! Is anyone else enjoying golf during prime time? I sure am. I've pretty much given up on television lately because there's not much on. Usually I'll end up reading or listening to music or watch a DVD, but the last two weeks, I've been able to watch a ton of golf.
I think we need to lobby the PGA to broadcast more during prime time. Your thoughts? Now, on to the links.
Hole 1: Nick Dougherty's Blog
Nick Dougherty has a journal over at the BBC. It's a pretty good read and gives you a bit of info on what he's thinking while playing. [link]
Hole 2: Tiger to be a Billionaire
In 2010, I hope to be a thousandaire. Hey Tiger, if you're reading this, maybe you could drop me a million or two. I don't want much, just not to have to work anymore. Whaddya say?! Throw this guy a bone! [link]
Hole 3: Slight Putters
These putters got a little chatter in the forum, so I had to check them out. And I liked what I saw. I might have to put a little money out there to pick one of these up. I think I've got a bit of a putter obsession. [link]
Hole 4: Home Brew Swing Analysis
This software looks kind of cool. The website's not all that great, but for the price, it looks as though the software might be worth a try. [link]
Hole 5: Lefties Only
Hey lefties, here's the site for you. It caters only to the left-handed golfer. But the funny thing is, the picture of the clubs are of right-handed clubs. [link]
Hole 6: Golf Apprentice
For all you Donald Trump fans, here's a tournament you need to figure out how to get into. Trump is creating what I imagine will be an Apprentice-like experience, but on a golf course. And you can win a million dollars! [link]
Hole 7: Dog Cover
Like the GolfChick, I too got a headcover that is the breed of my dog. I stopped using it because for one, it looked like a goat. But mostly because it was too big and got in the way. Plus, it was bigger than my dog (I have a Yorkshire Terrier). They do make great presents for the dog loving golfer. GolfChick has a link to the company in her post. [link]
Hole 8: Golf Invented in China?
I found this via Sortagolf. Buy or sell this? I'm selling. I just don't believe it. What do you think? [link]
Hole 9: GD Hotlist
This is a great reference for all of us gearheads. New equipment is largely what keeps me interested in the game of golf year after year. So I live for these sorts of lists. I just have to have the newest equipment. [link]

We talked about Golf in China in our last podcast. And Jeff just got a new headcover, too!
