Good ole' John Daly. He's a "big" personality in golf. He's the original "bomb and gouge" but when on, he had a wicked short game to match his long drives. I wish him well in his latest comeback.

While we don't like the majors to be too easy, neither do we want to watch a major decided by a lot of luck...lucky bounce, the ball rolling off the greens after a good approach shot, whether your allotted tee time happens to fall in the middle of a hurricane, etc. In other words, the winner should not be a "survivor", he should be a "conquerer" of the golf course, his swing and his emotions. This is a game of SKILL, and SKILL should determine the winner.
