Yeah, this weekend was packed with sports programming and I managed to catch a fair share of it. Baseball, Football (Go Penn St.), NASCAR and Golf all vied for TV Time. Fortunately, I invested in a TV with picture-in-picture to enjoy it all.

However, by the time Sunday afternoon rolled around, I gave my undivided attention to the golf. A special hats off to Steve Stricker and Aaaaaaron Baddddddely who played excellent golf under pressure and Tim Clark who looks like he cant break egg but manages to get the job done.

I am even looking forward to the weekend golf at Eastlake, regardless of how bad the greens are.

Plus, golfers will be treated to the Presidents Cup in a few weeks and there is bound to be some excitement there.

It should be noted that I have not signed on to the fantasy craze so my interest in football starts later in the season once the playoffs begin.

Thanks for giving us the opportunity to reflect since...golf rules!

How does this...

"Sorry Tim Finchem, I watched football all weekend instead of your beloved Fed Ex Cup Playoffs."

reconcile with this...

"His first set of clubs was a junior set of Northwesterns and the obsession to golf was started. Twenty-plus years later that love for this great game continues."

Alan...you missed quite a display of golf by Tiger. Football has another five months of action. Tell me you're going to watch the Tour Championship at Eastlake...
