Volume Thirty-Five

This week's links are best-in-show.

Hittin' the LinksAnyone else bored this weekend while watching the Franklin Templeton Shootout? Man, I was. The only thing of interest was Jesper's outfit. Speaking of which, is it just me, or does Ryan Moore look like he's trying just a bit to hard on the fashion? He looks like he's bought his pants at a thrift store and his shirt is his younger brother's.

Enough of my fashion critique. Now, on to the links.

Hole 1: Wie-ed
This is a totally fake site, but totally funny. I do wonder if we will see Michelle Wie on an E! True Hollywood story someday. [link]

Hole 2: Good Question
I figure I'll just try to find links of LPGA stars in bikinis to post ;-) [link]

Hole 3: Yummy
I guess now is as good of a time as ever to start scouring the web for LPGA stars in bikinis. Looks like I've got my first selection. [link via golfblogger]

Hole 4: More Girls
But these are the fully clothed kind. This is a great article about the LPGA's young talent that is making its way to the top. I'm definitely interested in LPGA now. [link]

Hole 5: Duck, Duck, Goose!
If I've never told anyone, but I freaking hate geese. I'll hit them with a 5-iron if they come near me. They're a pest! There's just something about them that drives me crazy. Anyway, I've never hunted before, but this seems like as good of a place as any to start. [link]

Hole 6: Tar Heel Tour
I love mini-tours. I think that's where you get the purest golf played. The guys play with heart and desire and really love playing, otherwise, they wouldn't be playing for such small purses. I was cruising the web and found my old college buddy Erik Herberth finished 17th on the 2005 money list. Congrats, Erik. [link]

Hole 7: Tom Herzan
While I'm plugging friends, everyone should keep an eye on Tom Herzan, my old boss when I worked at Findlay Country Club. He's a really good player and has made it to the final stages of Q-school on the Champions Tour. [link]

Hole 8: Gadget Fun
Do you like gadgets and golf? This might be for you. It reminds me of something Al Czervik might have used. [link]

Hole 9: Dating and Golf
I'm stealing this one from the Bogeyman. I've played golf since I was a child, but this contradicts everything I experienced. Golf repelled women, or maybe that was just my personality? [link]
