I am so excited the United States wins! I feel so stupidly happy for our country. I am so pleased that in these troubled times the dear USA wins one! In one weekend, the University of Georgia ( my alma mater ) and the US Ryder Cup team win. How sweet it is!

Things were definitely more stressful than that final score indicates. At one point during the singles matches, things looked like they might end up well for the Euros. The Mahan birdie at the 17th started a nice final push for the U.S., however, and they finished the job. It was nice to see a little fuel added to this event, and I'm already excited about the 2010 matches.
