Of course, non-Apple players (as well as Apple's free iTunes) can play .mp4 files, and we'd switch back to MP3 as soon as it let us add things like chapters and artwork. It doesn't, so we've stuck with .mp4. Several other players - including QuickTime Player on Windows (also free) will play the files. Bob said on April 5, 2009:

Of course, non-Apple players (as well as Apple's free iTunes) can play .mp4 files, and we'd switch back to MP3 as soon as it let us add things like chapters and artwork. That putt was a huge breaking 35 footer or something and wasn't realistic to make. He just doesn't miss when he can close the door on someone.
