Pros: Light stiff and higher launching.
Cons: Maybe be too light for your swing if you are >90mph with driver.
I have had this shaft for a little over a year. My fitter, Ken Collins at Kustom Clubs, selected this shaft to fit my driver swing. My swing speed ~ 90 - 92 mph and my launch angle was on the lower side.
After using the shaft for over a year, I would say that it is a decent shaft for slower swing speeds and moderate tempo. It is a light shaft, 62g, with moderate torque. If your tempo is higher, it may prove to be too soft even in the stiff.
The shaft feels good on impact and does give decent feedback. It is no longer available retain, unfortunately, like most shafts due to the constant improvements Aldila is making. However, if you see one for sale, and the price is right, give it a try. It compares well to the Aldila RIP beta and NVS higher launching shafts.
