The Vault Golf Travel Bag

Sturdy Golf Travel Bag

Abu3baid

Pros: Sturdy, Durable, Weight

Cons: Chunky, Big, Wheel Durability

The Vault   I purchased this bag back in 2012 after I moved because I needed to ship my clubs over seas.  I also needed the bag to travel back and forth with my clubs while making sure nothing ever happens to my clubs.   I hate it when I have to worry, so this bag was the best option for my clubs because of the way it looked (i.e. like it could protect anything inside). ...

Sun Mountain Reflex Cart

Pros: Small foot print; Keeps bag stable; Great asthetics and design of frame;

Cons: Steering component is a serious issue & comes with shoddy adjustment tool; A little heavy on the back wheels; Lacking some storage;

A great bag with an unacceptable annoyance

PING Hoofer

Pros: Plenty of space, durable, light.

Cons: 14 way but only 6 full length dividers. Clubs will grab. Simply an unacceptable short cut in production design.

Sun Mountain C-130 Cart Bag- Black

Sun Mountain C-130 Cart Bag- Black

“   After getting frustrated with my old 6 divider mini-staff bag, I went with a 6 way modern stand bag. It's a fine bag, but it was never that great on a cart. So the search began to find the ultimate cart bag. The search ended with 2 bags making the finals. The first bag was the Titleist Cart Bag and the Sun Mountain C130, both made by Sun Mountain. Priced about the same, I went...” --TourSpoon

PING Pioneer II Cart Bag

PING Pioneer II Cart Bag

“I've been using a Bennington Quiet Organizer golf cart bag since 2007 and although it is a very nice bag that keeps each club in its place, it is very heavy weighing in at around 11 pounds. This bag is also very tall because each of the irons sits down in its own well and is held in place. That makes it top heavy. For me that presents a small issue because my clubs are all fitted and 1/2”...” --drifterdon

Sun Mountain Reflex Cart

Sun Mountain Reflex Cart

“Sun Mountain just released a new hi tech cart called the "Reflex". I have been using it now for about 2 weeks and have formed an impression of it.   It was pretty much ready to go out of the box with minor assembly. I put it together sans reading the instructions for the most part. The hardest part was removing the protective plastic.   I think the cart looks beautiful folds and...” --Valleygolfer

Mizuno Aerolite Micro

Mizuno Aerolite Micro

“I bought this bag on a whim because it was on sale for $50.  I wanted a practice bag for the range and a Sunday bag for rounds with less than 14 clubs.  Mizuno has always been known as a high quality manufacturer of golf equipment.  This bag does not disappoint. It is very well built and comfortable to carry.  It will hold enough clubs for a range session and a round where...” --boogielicious

Srixon pencil bag

Srixon pencil bag

“ Just a great bag at a great price.  I recently started playing minimalist golf.  I put 6 clubs in the bag few balls and tees and I'm set for any course. Dosen't fit more than 7 clubs comfortably.  If you want to go minimal this might be your bag. ” --TomK82

Callaway Hyper-Lite 4.5 Stand Bag

Callaway Hyper-Lite 4.5 Stand Bag

“ In my quest to become a minimalist walking golfer I have been trying a few bags and my search ends hear with the hyper lite.  I just love how lite it is and how soft it rides on your back.  Tons of storage with 11 pockets you might not remember what pocket has what in it.  It has a secret valubles pocket that I much enjoy.  This bag seems really balanced. I wanted a...” --TomK82

Sun Mountain 2012 Micro Cart

Sun Mountain 2012 Micro Cart

“Like most golfers, I love to walk the course. I'm not the biggest fan of carrying however, so I tested a few push carts at Dick's and settled on the 2012 Sun Mountain Micro Cart. I've had it for a season now. Since I usually would rent a crappy cart whenever I would play, it made sense to just buy a nice one. The money I've saved now that I no longer rent has probably paid for the cart already....” --JetFan1983

Clicgear Model 3.5+ Push Cart

Clicgear Model 3.5+ Push Cart

“I have always enjoyed walking. Always feel much more connected to the round, feel like i can learn the course better etc. However, of late some lower back nerve problems have really slowed me down. Shoulders would be pretty tired after a round also. After reading some reviews i bit the bullet and bought a clicgear 3.5+ as a reference this is my first cart of any kind. Honestly, after 3 rounds i...” --oregongolfguy

Nike Performance Hybrid Carry Bag

Nike Performance Hybrid Carry Bag

“This year, I was looking for the perfect golf bag that would provide me with comfort, ease of mind, quality and at least several years of use. In my search, I spent hours and hours researching every light weight stand bag available from several years past to 2014 releases. In all of my searching, the usual suspects that kept on appearing were Sun Mountain and Ogio bags. Knowing that a friend of...” --Spyder
