MacGregor M75T Driver

Excellent Game improvement driver

Dave40

Pros: Traditional shape, large forgiving face, quality shaft, hits long

Cons: available only at Golfsmith

I picked this up on sale and it has turned out to be my go to driver when my game is struggling and i just want to hit straight and long.  It has a slightly closed face which helps if your miss is a slice.  MacGregor shafts are made by UST and have a nice medium low kick point.  The face is both tall and wide which promotes confidence at setup and the traditional pear shape...

Cobra Men's Bio Cell+ Golf Driver, Right Hand, Graphite, Regular, Silver

“Cobra hasn't advertised the Bio Cell+ as hard as companies like TaylorMade, so I didn't quite know what to expect going into this review. Was I supposed to see 20 extra yards? Should blimps overhead have been afraid of the extra height I was going to get? Should I have expected to be wowed with its adjustably? All their website tells me is to anticipate “longer, straighter drives.” Well,...” --jamo

Callaway Men's Big Bertha Alpha Driver, Right Hand, Graphite, Stiff Flex, 9.0

Callaway Men's Big Bertha Alpha Driver, Right Hand, Graphite, Stiff Flex, 9.0

“I won this club in a giveaway here on TST.    Since it came in during the very long winter we had, I opted to not take it out until I had an opportunity to "get back in the swing of things" with the driver I was using last year (Callaway Razr Fit Xtreme, 9.5*, Matrix Black Tie shaft in stiff flex)).   Well, it took me a while to get any consistency going this year but...” --teamroper60

Wilson Staff Men's DXI Superlight Driver (Right-Handed, Graphite Matrix X-Con, Regular, 9-Degree)

Wilson Staff Men's DXI Superlight Driver (Right-Handed, Graphite Matrix X-Con, Regular, 9-Degree)

“This driver hits long.  The 46 inch Matrix shaft is a good match.  The setup favors slower swingers with an even tempo.  Hard hitters and those who make a quick transition from backswing to forward swing might not find this driver to be the easiest to control, but those golfers probably will not do well with any of the ultralight drivers. The Dxi Superlight is 269 grams.  ...” --Dave40

Cobra Golf Bio Cell Driver

Cobra Golf Bio Cell Driver

“I've had this club since the beginning of this year at have no complaints. My previous driver was the Cobra S3 and I decided to take the Bio Cell over Callaway's Big Bertha (partially because it cost $100 less) as those were the only two drivers that impressed me. I have easily gained 10 yards over the S3. I was concerned about how straight I would be hitting this club because it is...” --ajst22

Nike VR-S Covert Tour Driver

“When we contacted Nike about doing a review of the Covert drivers, Nike was kind enough to send me both, and asked that one be sent back upon completion of the review. That means I, like most consumers out there, have a choice to make between what really aren't terribly different drivers. Why aren't they that different? Because, like most drivers on the market, with the right shaft adjusted...” --jamo

Nike Victory Red STR8-FIT Tour Driver

“ This review is coming a few years late, but I'm a golfer on a budget so I tend to use older equipment.  Let me first begin with this club is a bargain now, if you're like me and buy clubs a few model years old then this is a club you need to check out.   This club is by far the best driver I've ever used.  It's also the first adjustable driver I've used and after some...” --Motown88

Nike SQ MachSpeed STR8-FIT Driver

Nike SQ MachSpeed STR8-FIT Driver

“This driver has a ton of forgiveness. Heel hits that would put you in the rough to the left still fly and roll a good way. The same hits with other drivers would leave me short and left of the fairway still get me in the good grass on the left side of the fairway. I had to hit several other drivers to realize how forgiving this one is. The adjustability is not advertised to be used for changing...” --Fromthecoast
