Bridgestone e6

Solid all around ball

A review on: Bridgestone e6
mcat12

Pros: Straighter, durable

Cons: Not soft enough for my liking.

*dozen came with my SkyTrak purchase. Played a full round with e6 today. Driving and iron shots were straighter then normal. Not as soft as some of the other premium balls. I'm testing about 5-6 balls this season starting with the Chrome + soft, Srixon z, Titleist NXT, Bridgestone e6 and 330...maybe 1 or 2 more. The e6 would be my run of the mill ball for everyday courses and games with friends.

PING Hoofer

Pros: Plenty of space, durable, light.

Cons: 14 way but only 6 full length dividers. Clubs will grab. Simply an unacceptable short cut in production design.

TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Rescue

TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Rescue

“This club along with the partner 4H are the best purchases I have ever made. Although, I did buy both of mine at Dick's on sale for the same price last year. The lefty club selection at my local Golfsmith seems to focus on the latest clubs. These hybrids have replaced both of my fairway woods. They have a much more compact head, and elicit much more confidence in my shots. However, since I...” --Lihu

PING Glide Wedges

PING Glide Wedges

“I have been playing (and loving) Ping Tour Gorge wedges since they were introduced about 2 1/2 years ago.  I currently play a 54.5 and 59 SS, which I'm pretty happy with, so I chose to test the 54 and 58, also in standard sole.  I have a slightly larger than necessary distance gap between my 50 and 54.5, so I figured dropping down 1/2 degree might help that.   First off, out of...” --Golfingdad

Callaway Men's Big Bertha Alpha Driver, Right Hand, Graphite, Stiff Flex, 9.0

Callaway Men's Big Bertha Alpha Driver, Right Hand, Graphite, Stiff Flex, 9.0

“I won this club in a giveaway here on TST.    Since it came in during the very long winter we had, I opted to not take it out until I had an opportunity to "get back in the swing of things" with the driver I was using last year (Callaway Razr Fit Xtreme, 9.5*, Matrix Black Tie shaft in stiff flex)).   Well, it took me a while to get any consistency going this year but...” --teamroper60

"The Ball" from ineedtheball

"The Ball" from ineedtheball

“ The Ball is a 3 piece designed golf ball with a tungsten core.  The company is marketing The Ball as a ball where you will get all of the qualities of a distance ball without losing the feel/spin around the greens.  The Ball looks like most other traditional golf balls with circular dimples. It has a snake logo with an arrow for the side stamp.   My first...” --SCfanatic35

Golf Pride MCC Plus4 Grips

Golf Pride MCC Plus4 Grips

“I’ve played over 10 rounds with these grips and I can’t say enough how much like these grips.  It fits perfect in my hand, has a great feel and the reduced tapered end makes it easy to maintain light grip pressure.  And I’ve noticed that these grips don’t bite into my hand like some of the other ½ cord grips have in the past.   I even played in the light rain in Hawaii using...” --jsgolfer

Adidas Adipower Boost Golf Shoes

Adidas Adipower Boost Golf Shoes

“I was very excited to get a chance to review the Adidas Adipower Boost golf shoe.  When I first checked them out on the Adidas website, I was intrigued by the Boost energy capsules, and I was impressed by the looks of the shoe.  I've been a True convert for a little over a year, but I'm not 100% sold on the minimalist golf shoe concept.  While I appreciate the looks, comfort, and...” --k-troop

Callaway Chrome Soft Golf Balls

Callaway Chrome Soft Golf Balls

“I was given a dozen of these balls to play and test out.. I have played these for over 6-7 rounds now and have shot some good scores for me  (Mid-70-s).  As such, I kept the same ball for a few days.  I saw no degradation of the ball or performance.  And.. being a generous type, I passed out balls to my regular partners and asked them what they thought. I would not tell them...” --cliffj

WarSpec Ball Marker

WarSpec Ball Marker

“I will start off by saying the Warspec, Spec 1 Hand Finished golf ball mark is very nice and very well made. Having your initials engraved on the mark certainly adds style to it and is included in the Hand Finished product ($40). Paint fill is also included. The Black Ox version ($19) does not include engraved initials ($10 option) or paint fill ($5). This is not a ball mark that you will see...” --CarlSpackler

Monsta Golf Balls

Monsta Golf Balls

“I reviewed the Monsta golf balls over several rounds of golf at courses that I am familiar with. When opening the sleeve, I noticed the unusual Monsta eyeball logo on the cover of the ball. This certainly helps identify your ball on the course. The cover has a shiny appearance and a soft feel to the touch, and the Monsta Golf lettering on the ball has arrows on each side to use as an alignment...” --CarlSpackler

Talon Golf Glove

Talon Golf Glove

“Overall the Talon is a great glove.  When looking for a great glove, it’s all about the fit to the hand, the feel and grip on the club and lastly comfort.  The Talon glove had two of the three going for it, grip and comfort, on the size I tested.  I believe if the glove fit my hand properly, it would have hit all three of these with ease.   In regards to playability,...” --jsgolfer
