Wilson D-100 Hybrid

well balanced performance, great utility club

A review on: Wilson D-100 Hybrid
Dave40

Pros: distance, medium trajectory, forgiving, nice shaft

Cons: not usually in stock at some big box golf stores

I've used some hybrids that seem to balloon on me and some that have such a small low profile face that it is difficult to hit consistently.  The D100 is about in the middle of face size with a good ratio of face height and width.  The Matrix Ozik Altus 5.6 shaft has a nice solid feel without being too stiff or too whippy.  Trajectory is medium and predictable.  It also...

TaylorMade Burner SuperFast 2.0 Rescue

“This club along with the partner 4H are the best purchases I have ever made. Although, I did buy both of mine at Dick's on sale for the same price last year. The lefty club selection at my local Golfsmith seems to focus on the latest clubs. These hybrids have replaced both of my fairway woods. They have a much more compact head, and elicit much more confidence in my shots. However, since I...” --Lihu

Cobra Baffler T-Rail Hybrid

Cobra Baffler T-Rail Hybrid

“I absolutely love my Baffler T-Rail 4 hybrid. I have owned it for a few weeks and I have nothing bad to say about it. I can hit this club out of the rough as easily as I can hit it out of the fairway. It is very versatile. I like the looks of the club. The yellow alignment on the head is helpful and the yellow grip (while it does get dirty) looks sharp. ” --ajst22

Adams Super S Hybrid

Adams Super S Hybrid

“I like both of these clubs, I really do. Adams has never been a company that will blow you away with flashy marketing and exaggerated claims, and for that I can't fault them. But sometimes exaggerated claims have a grain of truth to them. TaylorMade-Adidas has positioned Adams Golf as their sort of "little brother" brand, a place where they can experiment, test out innovation, and keep costs...” --jamo
