Chalet Hills

This course is just 1.5 miles down the road from Foxford Hills.  This layout I think is much more interesting that Foxford, which also makes it more challenging.  In recent years Foxford has gone up in price, where Chalet still has great twilight and sometimes prime time rates due to coupons in carious places such as greatgreenfees.com.  This course winds through protected wetlands, but it does nto play as a link style course as that might suggest.  Challening greens and non-flat lies due to countoured fairways make this course a great test.  Overall great experience.

This is definitely one of the nicest courses in McHenry county, and although it's pricey, you get what you pay for. Great conditioning, challenging, beautiful area goes through some nice nature areas. Hole #5 is a very narrow par 4 with woods on either side that can make or break your round. Course has some dramatic elevation changes and fantastic views. Not to be missed.
