Foxford Hills

This course has a fun layout, with challenging and contoured greens.  they are not your average muni-flat-spots at the end of a fairway.  That said, this can be a challenging course for beginners, from any tee, especially when the wind is up, causing some holes to play extremely long.  Holes 1-13 are intermixed with houses, with 2 holes in particular being played under giant power lines.  This is not a huge negative as the houses are not close the fairways in all cases.  Starting with 14, they are cut into mature woods, and 15 and 16 in particular are GREAT golf holes.  15 being the signature hole here.  Overall a nice course though, definitely worth a play.

Upscale course winds through residential area for the front 9 and through some very scenic woods for the back 9. This is a great test of golf. Elevation changes, wind, multi-tiered greens, lots of bunkers and some forced carries. Do not expect to score well your first time there. You'll need every club and shot in your bag. Holes 15-18 are especially beautiful. Definitely not to be missed if you're in the area.
