HVCC
Pros: Great Course
Cons: Crowded
In 2011 I purchased a rounds package at HVCC. The course is great - classic Donald Ross design. A good amount of elevation change in the course, small greens and excellent bunkers. The course is generally well maintained. Some greens had suffered because of the wet conditions during the spring and fall but generally were good. Fairways and tees very nice. 16 thru 18 are 3 of the finest finishing holes I've ever played.
Staff is helpful and courteous. Buffet in the dining room is very good as well.
The only downside I had was the number of leagues during the week. Made it impossible to play afternoons which was something I had wanted to do. Weekends were fine - the staff did a super job of pairing me with others.
