What a treat !!!!!!
Pros: Challenging course
Cons: Some fairway spots hold water
Friday July 6, 2012. With a cart and a small basket of range balls it came to $44.00 and some change(18). Staff was very nice and proshop was well stocked. They also have a grill and snack stand. They offer free water and ice for anyone with a cooler. Carts are in good condition. Driving range was well maintained. The course was in very good shape. The club was doing some tree trimming work on the front 9 but nothing interfered with the round.
Rate and slope range from 67.0/108(red tees) to 69.7/122(black tees) Max yardage is 6100. Scorecards show yardage, rate, and slope for each set of tees.
Front 9 - Every hole lined with tall pines. Very tight. Almost every hole has a left or right dogleg. Course management is the key to a low score on the front.
Back 9 - More open, easier to recover from a miss hit, but there is more water to contend with. 5 of the 9 holes has some form of water hazard.
Overall great course for the golfer getting his/her game together.
