Men's Ping G15 Fairway Wood

Pros: Long easy to hit accurate

Cons: none

Got this G15 5 wood on ebay for $50.  Great condition.  Took it out to game before I had a chance to range it.  First hit was longer than my Mizuno 3 wood, 215.  Next was close to 220.  Absolutely love this club.  I am now looking for the 3 wood.

Pros: Forgiving, Low-Profile look, Accurate

Cons: None

I bought this club (3 wood) because I could never hit fairway woods properly... until now. I like the low-profile look of the club, which makes it easier to hit for me, since it resembles a hybrid to me. I can hit it straight about ~200 yards, even without hitting the club in the centre of the clubface. It's also not that bad out of the rough. Highly recommended for all skill levels.

Pros: consistent, long, forgiving, well balanced

My 3 and 5 woods were the oldest clubs in my bag. I recently replaced them with a Ping G-15 4 wood (17.5*). My second round with the club was my best of the year. I am not a long hitter and rely on fairway woods and hybrids a lot. On the first hole, a long par 5, I hit a poor ntee shot and had a 196 yard third shot approach to the green over a bunker. I hit this 4 wood to 3 feet and made birdie. It feels well balanced and is easy to swing. The par 3's on my home course are all long (180+ from the middle tees). I used this club on all 4 and parred 3 out of 4 using this club. Hit 2 greens, 3rd was  pin high in a bunker and the fourth about 2 yards short/right. The club gives a mid high flight and lands softly (although rain made the greens quite receptive.) My mishits are fades/slices and they were minimal with this club. It is fantastic form the fairwat or tee. Just okay from the rough, depending on your lie. It has a low profile face

Pros: easy to hit

Cons: slightly closed

I have the Ping G15 4-wood which has 17° of loft and it has been a great club for me. Goes just as long as any 3 wood that I have owned and gets plenty of height without the ballooning. Wish it setup more neutral or slightly open.
