Pros: Nice layout, not super expensive

Cons: Not taken care of well.

I really love the layout of the course, it has some interesting holes and would be a great course if they took care of it.  Unfortunately they don't.  I was there this weekend and while it is still kind of early in the season it was in pretty bad shape.  The tee boxes were extremely overgrown, it was almost like hitting out of the rough off the tee.

 

Hopefully it will get better during the summer time but its late enough in the season now that it should be in a lot better condition.

I live about 10 minutes from this course and have played there many times. I agree that the layout is interesting, and I like the elevation changes. The maintenance is so-so like you indicated. The thing that really annoys me is the enormous tree branch that hangs out over the fairway about 50 yards in front of the green on #14 (uphill par 5). It NEEDS to be cut off.

Yeah that hole is nonsense, there is really no way to get onto the green in reg on that hole unless you get extremely lucky. The maintenance seems like it keeps getting worse every year unfortunately.
