Ping s56 irons

I haven't tried these irons on the course yet, but I've got fitted for them at my nearest golf shop. I have these irons 4-PW with True Temper Dynamic Gold extra stiff shafts. This iron performed really great while the fitting. I also tried a Nike VR blade and Titleist MB blade. Excellent irons also, but they weren't for me. The Ping s56 may not be a forged blade, but it feels as soft as one to me. Looks great at set up. I'm very glad these will replace my Wilson Staff Ci6 irons. I will never buy irons without trying them. I had the wrong flex (regular on the Ci6) and I hate an iron with offset, I don't feel it helps you at all. If you want my advice, before buying irons, try them out! Don't try any of those ''forgiving'' irons. You'll never improve your games with clubs like that. Try a real player's iron, they are fantastic and they'll tell you when you hit a bad shot.
