Pros: Works as advertised, cost, easy to conceal

Cons: Must be hand washed

This is my first review and I appreciate the chance. I was skeptical of this belt because my back issue is more of a nerve issue. I have been diagnosed with Lumbar Stenosis. the spinal canal and openings are narrowing and putting pressure on the nerves causing pain especially while standing and walking long periods. I can be fine one minute and turn or bend wrong and the pain is instantaneous and extremely debilitating. I have had to quit in the middle of several rounds of golf because of this. I was skeptical because all of the information for the belt dealt with SI joint issues.

I have used the belt for a little over 3 weeks and with it I can play up to 36 holes of golf a day, I am 50 years old and retired so time is not an issue. I chose to wear the belt under my golf shorts and over my boxer shorts. I live in central Texas so heat is an issue, but the belt is comfortable when adjusted properly. I have had no chaffing issues and actually other than the supportive feeling to my lower back I usually don't even think about it. The belt should be properly worn to get the best results and it took me a couple of times to find the correct place to wear it. The elastic support straps should be snug, but not too tight. I found this out the hard way because what feels okay when you first put it on can feel very tight and restrictive once you start playing and moving with the belt on. I had no problem concealing it under my golf shorts.

During a round of golf the belt provides me with support and a small amount of pressure to my back and enables me to swing a golf club without pain. Other reviewer have said they found it uncomfortable when sitting, but I have not experienced any discomfort while sitting. The only downside I have found is that the belt should be hand washed.

Overall I would suggest this to anyone who has lower back pain while playing golf. Your amount of relief may vary, but the cost of the belt is less than I have paid for a round of golf.
