St. Johns Golf & Country Club

Pros: Great condition

Cons: Able to see Sampson Cemetery from 1st tee

Great course in great condition. It plays long but fair and the greens are always in perfect shape. The perfect track to test out the new driver.

Pros: Great condition, long but fair, good staff.

Cons: none

This is in my opinion the best golf course in Northeast Florida (without paying $200+).  In great condition, long but not too narrow, water in play on 12 holes.  PGA Q-School takes place there every fall, (not sure what stage).   My only suggestion would be better yardage markers on range.

Pros: Always in EXCELLENT condition

Cons: Little pricey $55-$65

Its always a treat to be able to play this course. I have played 3 times since moving to Jacksonville and its one of my favorites. Well bunkered and water is in play on most holes. The greens are always in great shape and the tree lined fairways give it a great feel.
