The Stadium Course @ TPC Sawgrass

Had the pleasure of playing the stadium course 3 weeks before The Players tournament. Had to maneuver around some netting put down on the tee boxes and landing areas the pros would be using, but got to play the course in fantastic condition. If you get a chance to play, make sure you play 16, 17 and 18 from the tips. It's an experience you won't forget.

My group of 32 guys paid some big money and got a completely burnt piece of crap to play golf on. The fore caddy's sucked more lost balls as they told the old stories. Did I mention the dead bird shredded all over the 10th tee or the part about the guy who picked up our group camera on the famous 17th hole and took a picture of his junk. Maybe the over priced food where they charged us an extra $10 to split a sandwich and even cut the pickle in half. I would never return and I know my mates would not either.

Went to TPC Sawgrass to celebrate my 50th birthday and honestly cannot fault the place, if there is a heaven then I hope it's like Sawgrass.

The course is outstanding and the attention from all the staff is second to none. It's not often you stray off a fairway (actually that bit is!) and find Vijay Singh practising his trade.

Highlight of the trip was the 17th of course, all four of us managed to hit the green on day 1, and amazingly managed to repeat the feat on day 2. The caddy said it was unheard of but I'm sure he was just being nice.

If you ever get the opportunity don't hesitate, I can guarantee you will love the Sawgrass experience.

This is a great course, the caddies really make it special. 

I really enjoyed the two rounds I was able to play at the Stadium course. I was able to play it on my birthday the last 2 years and it is definatley challenging. The caddies are great sourses for advice and stories about the course and past tournaments. This is one of the courses that I am happy to scratch off my bucket list.
