Pros: Esthetics (shape and color), weight, and performance

Cons: It doesn't hit the ball for me yet & price

Perhaps its just a preference on my part, but I really like the Vokey wedges for their solid heavy feel. Now, I haven't tried many other wedges to relate too, but this wedge performs as good as I could ever expect a wedge to perform. They look great addressed to the ball, impart as much spin as I need, and come in a grind that I'm not familiar with. This grind thing has not proven to show its benefits on the course, so I don't care too much about it. If you have owned the SM4 and preferred those, than you will like these. Honestly, they should have just labeled these SM4 and spare us the $130 retail price. In my opinion if your choice was between SM4 and SM5 at your local golf shop, get the one thats cheaper.

Ironically, one week after ordering my custom  SM4 60 deg M stock grind wedge from the vokey store...the SM5's were rolled out.... Marketing....I ordered a $215 wedge and it had lost over $100 in value before I even got it. So I was told to take from their webpage stock. If you order a custom grind..it will take forever and you probably won't be happy. There is my $100 rebate.
Hey i kind of feel the same way.. I didnt get a custom vokey, but picked up two last sept a 56-12 and 60-4.. which i laugh about cuz i was at the local golf galaxy, and asked one of the guys why they dont have the higher loft wedges in low bounce.. and he's like well.... we only get a few of them and once they are gone we dont get them restocked.. but i think we have a 60-4 right here and he finds one..lol So i go from seriously walking out the door to snagging that and  the 56-12.. like 2 mins before they closed... then two days later i go to my home golf course and see they have all of their Vokey's on sale for 80$ lol!!!!!!!   after i dropped 125$ each on the ones i just picked up.... i would of returned them but it would of been a 100 mile round trip...
I think the SM5 grooves has increased the spin somewhat, which is one good thing, and the profile is a little different, but the SM4 is a very fine wedge.
