Pros: Engaging golf course that offers blind shots, lots of elevation changes, and views of downtown Houston.
Cons: If you're an environmental nut, you might go a little crazy about the "live" rocking horse pumps working wells off the fairways ;)
This course is divided into the Highlands and Lakes.
The first time I played this course was a company scramble. It was well organized and a whole lotta fun. On normal days, a dispatcher handles tee times and is very prompt. Slow play is minimal.
Gorgeous scenery is abound and if you look north you'll glimpse the picturesque Houston skyline (one of the most impressive in the nation).
The greens are well cared for and the sand is always consistent. Though the courses are fair, elevation changes will leave even the most talented golfers pacing up and down hills finding lines of sight.
Value is tops, as this course is accessible for under $100 and will not disappoint.
