  1. Hello from the Big Easy...

Hi and welcome from Baton Rouge. I am a recent new member also but have been lurking for quite some time. You will enjoy the site I'm sure.
  2. Golf Laser Rangefinders

I have the same model you are looking at and must say I love mine. I have only played twice with it so far. It sure seemed much quicker to jump out of the cart, aim, get distance then walking and looking for a sprinkler head. A few months ago my playing partner had a Nikon model and it was very hard to pick out the flag and get the proper distance. This Bushnell model is as easy as it comes. The name “Pin Seeker” is very appropriate. I will also say that the review from the link posted on the previous reply is what helped me make my decision last month.
  3. What golf stuff did you get for Christmas?

For Christmas my loving wife put under the tree for me (2) Vokey Spin Millied Wedges and the Bushnell 1500 Rangefiner w/ slope. Of course I had these items circled in the Edwin Watts golf catalog. (s) All it cost me was a ring of equal value that she picked out. I guess the new 3-wood and hybrid will have to wait til I recoup on the finances.
  4. Hello from Louisiana

According to the Zurich Classic website, the TPC of Louisiana (New Orleans area) which held this PGA event last year has enough damage that it will be held once again at English Turn in April 2006. Funny thing is that English Turn is only about 25 mile away from the TPC. Go figure.
  5. Hello from Louisiana

I have been lurking here for awhile and finally decide to join. I do enjoy reading all the posts and hopefully will chime in from time to time. I am in Baton Rouge, LA and have been playing for 3 years. Recently I was introduced to the teachings of The Golfing Machine (TGM) by Homer Kelly. This has helped me lower my handicap by over 10 strokes fairly quickly and I hope to lower even more this year. revvedUP
